The application of multivariate data analysis methods and a tremendous increase in available computational power have opened great opportunities to address present and future engineering challenges. If you want to learn how the modern multivariate data analysis, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning algorithms, can be used to address engineering challenges - then this course is for you. The course will provide you with the essential knowledge that enhances your capabilities to solve complex engineering problems, within fields such as waste management, energy, agriculture, water management, weather forecasting - and thereby contributing to sustainable development.
120 credits of which 90 credits engineering and/or natural science, and 7.5 credits mathematics. In addition, Swedish course 3 or Swedish level 3 and English course 6 or English level 2 are required. For courses given entirely in English exemption is made from the requirement in Swedish course 3 or Swedish level 3.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
