Virtual commissioning (VC) is a technique used in the field of automation and control engineering to simulate and test a system's control software and hardware in a virtual environment before it is physically implemented. The aim is to identify and correct any issues or errors in the system before deployment, reducing the risk of downtime, safety hazards, and costly rework.
90 credits in engineering/technology, or 30 credits in engineering/technology and at least 2 years' experience in full-time employment in a relevant area within industry, or At least 3 years' experience in full-time employment in a relevant area within industry. In addition Swedish course 3 or Swedish level 3 and English course 6 or English level 2 are required. For courses given entirely in English exemption is made from the requirement in Swedish course 3 or Swedish level 3.
