The purpose of the course is that the student develops knowledge and gain basic skills in statistical models in order to handle the stochastic variations and also be familiar with some data analysis methodologies, which are based on probability theory, for instance, parameter estimate, correlation and regression analysis, hypothesis testing.
Entry requirements
Pass in following course: MA209A: Analysis A and Linear Algebra, 15 credits or ***alternatively*** at least 15 credits from MA301A: Calculus with Applications and MA300A: Linear Algebra with Applications. The equivalent of English 6 in Swedish secondary school.
