Detta är introduktionskursen på avancerad nivå och syftar till att ge grundläggande kunskaper i arkiv- och informationsvetenskap, och en grundläggande förståelse för arkivens syfte och roll för individer, organisationer och samhälle. Du kommer att lära dig centrala begrepp, definitioner och standarder. I kursen kommer du belysa arkivinformationens och arkivverksamhetens syfte och uppgifter idag och i ett historiskt perspektiv, diskutera arkivprofessionens uppgifter, roll och etik och hur arkiv påverkas av samhällets digitalisering.

Entry requirements

Bachelor's Degree, 180 credits (ECTS).
