The course gives an overview of the theory of real numbers and real functions. Topological concepts are introduced to provide in-depth insights into the number line and its structure. This lays the foundation for the study of basic analysis, where continuity, differentiability and integrability are studied for real functions. A particularly important concept is uniform convergence and its significance for the limit of a sequence of functions.

Matematik 37,5 hp, inklusive Matematik GR (B), Flervariabelanalys, 7,5 hp.
