Kursen presenterar olika aktuella filosofiska strömningar som historiskt sett har vuxit fram ur Husserls fenomenologi. Den ska ge en förståelse för den kontinentala 1900-talsfilosofins ursprung och dess radikala val mellan å ena sidan studiet av fenomenets essens, å andra sidan studiet av dess (konkreta) vara. Under seminarierna analyseras texter av representativa tänkare såsom Heidegger, Scheler, Merleau-Ponty, Sartre, Arendt, Ricoeur, Derrida och Marion.

Entry requirements

General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits).
