Kursen utgör en introduktion till filosofins historia från 1600-talet till nutid (1900-talets början). Syftet är att få en grundläggande förståelse för den nya tidens rationalism och empirism som uppstod tack vare naturvetenskapens revolution och upplysningens förnuftstro. Vi försöker även att förstå uppkomsten av olika postkantianska strömningar och tendenser. Några av de största tänkarnas grundtexter från olika sekler studeras och diskuteras mer ingående.

Entry requirements

General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits).
