Vilka implikationer som evolutionsteorin egentligen har för vår syn på människans natur och hennes plats i kosmos är något som biologer, evolutionspsykologer, filosofer och teologer alltjämt diskuterar. I denna kurs analyserar vi denna tematik med särskilt fokus på människans sociala och moraliska natur. Är evolutionen en process som enbart kan främja själviskhet, eller kan den också ge upphov till moralisk agens och altruism?
General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits). Students taking part in the course as a freestanding course are expected to have corresponding prior knowledge.
