Andra Vatikankonciliet samlade 1962–1965 cirka 2 500 katolska biskopar, sakkunniga teologer och externa observatörer. Kursen behandlar konciliets viktigaste dokument, men tecknar också en teologisk bakgrund och belyser dess receptionshistoria. Hur framstår Andra Vatikankonciliet jämfört med tidigare kyrkomöten? Hur förhåller sig Jesus Kristus till kyrkan och till ”världen”? Innebar konciliet en kontinuerlig utveckling eller ett trendbrott?

Entry requirements

General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits). Students taking part in the course as a freestanding course are expected to have corresponding prior knowledge.
