Advanced data processing with techniques from Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly more common in areas such as decision support, information search, medical diagnostics, vehicle and robot control, computer games etc. . The course gives knowledge on basic techniques and concepts in Artificial Intelligence like search and planning, machine learning , knowledge representation and intelligent agents. Understanding of the theory is enhanced by practical programming projects.
Entry requirements
Programming Fundamentals, 7.5 Credits and Object-Oriented Programming, 7.5 Credits from the course Programming, 15 credits, as well as Data Structures and Algorithms, 7.5 Credits and Introduction to Computer Science and Discrete Mathematics, 7.5 Credits.
