The course aims to develop the student’s knowledge in computer-aided calculations of engineering problems. Selected parts of the theory behind the finite element method are reviewed and the practical part of the course is based on tasks using finite element analysis software.

Mechanics, 7.5 credits, Strength of Materials, 7.5 credits and Algebra and Calculus, 15 credits.
