What is actually true and "real" in social media? In this course we examine how social media is used and abused, as well as various forms of manipulation and mis- and disinformation. The course provides insights into how technical platforms both shape news and other types of content, as well as how technology shapes our ways of communicating in today's society. Through games, workshops, and other creative exercises, you will learn to spot questionable content and develop critical digital media skills.
General entry requirements for university studies (with the exemption of Swedish language).
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
