In the course Atmosphere, Biogeochemistry, and Climate Change you will become familiar with the intertwining between the large-scale natural element cycles (e.g., the global carbon cycle) and emissions from human society such as greenhouse gases and aerosols and other perturbations such as land-use change. This combines into anthropogenic effects ranging from climate change to degradation of air and water quality. After By taking this course you will become equipped to contribute to solutions these 21st century challenges.
Admission to the course requires knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor of Science or Engineering, 15 ECTS in Mathematics or Statistics and English corresponding to Swedish upper secondary school English 6.
