Kursen bygger vidare på Bibelgrekiska I och avser att ge ökad kunskap om grekiskans morfologi, syntax och ordförråd. En grundläggande förståelse av det klassiska grekiska språkets syntax samt viss färdighet i interpretation av nytestamentliga texter förvärvas. I kursen studeras även de viktigaste morfologiska och grammatiska skillnaderna mellan koiné och den klassiska attiskan för att göra studenterna behöriga för fortsatta studier i klassisk grekiska (Grekiska I,2).
