Kursen ger fördjupade kunskaper om socialt arbete med personer med normbrytande funktionsvariationer. Den behandlar hur välfärdssamhällets organisering påverkar livsvillkoren för personer med funktionsvariationer och tar upp hur funktionsvariationer inverkar på möjligheter till utbildning, arbete, familjeliv och boende över livsloppet. Kursen ger perspektiv på hur funktionsvariation samverkar med andra maktrelationer, som genus, etnicitet, klass, ålder och sexuell läggning, och problematiserar hur arbetsmetoder och förhållningssätt i socialt arbete kan möjliggöra eller begränsa delaktighet och inflytande.

Entry requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, other Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent. Swedish 3/Swedish as a second language 3 and English 6 or the equivalent.
