This course aims to enhance the student’s ability to employ English for academic and professional purposes. A series of seminars running throughout the semester will cover a range of genres of written and oral communication (e.g. reports, academic papers, essays, oral presentations, business correspondence). The student’s linguistic proficiency will be improved through individual and collaborative tasks, designed to develop both written and oral language skills. This course does not fulfill the requirements for admission to higher levels.
Entry requirements
At least 60 ECTS credits in English or another academic subject. Swedish upper secondary school course English B/English 6 or equivalent
