The geological project centers on a field study in Scotland. You will learn about geological mapping from a geoscientific perspective. You will study how geomorphology and biogeography are related to the underlying geology. In Scotland, we conduct case studies at classic localities and a mapping exercise near Loch Ness. You will present your map in a written report and an oral presentation.
Entry requirements
For admission to the course, knowledge equivalent to Geological Sciences 15 credits (GG2010) is required, alternatively the courses Tellus I - Geology, 15 credits (GG2008), Tellus II - Geology, 12.5 credits (GG4039), Tellus III - Geology, 2.5 credits (GG4042).
