Kursen behandlar spänningsfältet mellan medborgarskapsutbildning och utbildning i mänskliga rättigheter i internationella och nationella kontexter. Vidare studeras universalism och kulturrelativism utifrån ett historiskt samt nutida perspektiv på mänskliga rättigheter och utbildning. Bildningens roll för demokrati och mänskliga rättigheter analyseras genom internationella jämförelser av teorier, policy och praxis.
Entry requirements
A degree within the Social Sciences or the Humanities or a Teacher certificate corresponding to at least 180 higher education credits. English level 6 or equivalent.
