This course is a direct continuation of the course Latvian 1. Course aim and learning outcomes The aim of the course is for you to gain knowledge in the structure of the Latvian language, expand your ability to express yourself orally and in writing in standard Latvian, and well as to gain basic knowledge in Latvian and Lithuanian contemporary literature and culture. Course content and teaching methods The course consists of the following subcourses: Language knowledge and language proficiency C, Language knowledge and language proficiency D, Fiction and non-fiction text, History of Baltic literature and Baltic cultural history.
