Inom masterprogrammet i internationella relationer ges studenten möjlighet att kritiskt diskutera och analysera frÄgor som rör hur stater, organisationer (statliga och icke-statliga) och andra aktörer agerar i det internationella systemet och vilka konsekvenser detta leder till nationellt, regionalt, globalt och lokalt. Centrala frÄgor som studeras Àr exempelvis: Hur uppstÄr konflikter och hur kan de lösas, hur fördelas makt och resurser och vilken betydelse har normer, institutioner och nationella identiteter för internationellt samarbete? Inom huvudomrÄdet har specifika teoribildningar för att förklara internationella förhÄllanden och problemkomplex vÀxt fram i den vetenskapliga debatten och dessa prÀglar utbildningens inriktning. Centrala teman för huvudomrÄdet internationella relationer Àr internationell sÀkerhet, internationella institutioner och internationell politisk ekonomi.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate degree with at least 180 ECTS credits with at least 90 ECTS credits in International Relations, Global Development or equivalent topics such as Economic History, History, Human Geography, Economics, Business Administration, Anthropology, Sociology or Political Science including a thesis or other independent project of at least 15 ECTS credits. Swedish upper secondary school course English B/6 or equivalent.
