The course contains the second semester in Middle Eastern and North African studies. In this course, the student will study minorities in the Middle East and migration in and from the Middle East. The course also covers media studies and the region's media landscape, as well as gender and feminism in the Middle East. Within in the course students will also get to know the literature of the Middle East.
22\.5 credits within Middle Eastern and North African Studies I, 30 credits, including the modules Middle East: Religions and Early History, 7.5 credits, Modern Middle Eastern history: 1500-1920, 7.5 credits and Contemporary Middle Eastern history: 1820-2020, 7.5 credits. Swedish upper secondary school course English 6 or equivalent.
