The course deals with molecular life processes, such as gene expression, ultrastructural organisation, motility and communication, in eukaryotic cells. The aim is to reach the issues that characterise today's front-line in research. Practical laboratory work is used to illustrate cell culture, fluorescence microscopy and macromolecular fractionation. The course also includes literature symposia. Course period: September - November.
Entry requirements
Admittance to the course requires knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. Swedish upper secondary school course English B/English 6 or equivalent.
