This course starts by giving a theoretical description of the relation between economic growth, natural resources and the environment. At the centre is the rate of technical progress, which is emphasised by new growth theories. This framework is then used to enhance the understanding of empirical observations. Special attention is given to the types of technical progress that saves natural resources and that makes production cleaner.
Knowledge equivalent to English B from upper secondary school. 180 credits at bachelor level, of which 90 credits in economics. In addition 30 credits in economics at advanced level, or equivalent, are required.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
