Kursen behandlar centrala teorier inom det konstnärliga området. Fokus ligger på konstens utveckling under 1900-talet fram till idag samt dess historiska rötter. Syftet är att ge studenterna en teoretisk och historisk bas för att kunna relatera sitt individuella konstnärskap till samtidskonstens olika strömningar.

Entry requirements

Participation in the course requires that the student is admitted to the Bachelor's programme in Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå University.
