Kursen ger kunskap om beräkningsmetoder för såväl enkla som sammansatta konstruktionselement. Kursen ger vidare övning i att formulera problem med hjälp av matematiska modeller och övning i allmän problemlösningsförmåga. De moment som behandlas är: enaxlig spännings- och deformationsanalys, statiskt obestämda system, böjning, vridning, fleraxliga spänningstillstånd, flytvillkor, experimentella metoder för deformationsmätning och spänningsberäkning, stabilitet samt utmattning.
Entry requirements
För tillträde till kursen krävs Tillämpad mekanik, 7.5 hp (5EN029) eller motsvarande.
