Kursen syftar till att studenter utvecklar fördjupade kunskaper om hur global mobilitet, migration, flyktingskap samt rÀttigheter bland minoritetsgrupper kan pÄverka mÀnniskors livsvillkor samt inflytande och delaktighet i samhÀllet. Vidare syftar kursen till att studenterna ska förvÀrva sig teoretisk och tillÀmpande kunskap relevant för omrÄdet. Kursen behandlar: - Migration, migrationspolitik, transnationalism och diaspora, medborgarskap samt mÀnskliga och sociala rÀttigheter, - etnicitet, etniska minoriteter, segregation och integration ur sociala, politiska, legislativa och teoretiska perspektiv, - rasism, normkritiska perspektiv och egen representation samt antirasistiskt socialt arbete - förutsÀttningar för social inkludering och det sociala arbetets roll för olika grupper i vÀlfÀrdsstatens marginaler DÀrutöver syftar kursen till att studenter utvecklar kunskaper om det sociala arbetets förmÄga att skapa förutsÀttningar för individers och gruppers inklusion vad gÀller sociala rÀttigheter, tillhörighet och vÀlbefinnande. Detta möjliggörs med hjÀlp av studenters sjÀlvreflektion för utökad medvetenhet om sin egen representation och sociala position, sÄsom etnicitet, interkulturella perspektiv och institutionell makt.
A minimum of 90 ECTS within the social sciences education in the following subjects: social work, sociology, Psychology, Peace and conflict studies, pedagogic, Gender Studies and social geography, Political science, Law/legal Science or in other courses that are considered equal to thus above, including an individual essay carrying at least 15 credits or 90 ECTS within nursing including an individual essay carrying at least 15 credits. In addition, English and Swedish are required for basic eligibility for higher education.
