Kursen ger en teoretisk och praktisk introduktion i mönsterkonstruktion. De studerande får utveckla kunskaper i att göra mönster till plagg med personlig utformning. Ett utforskande arbetssätt används, där de studerande söker egna uttryckssätt och inspirationskällor. Studenterna ges möjlighet att experimentera och prova olika metoder för mönsterformning. Viss sömnadsvana underlättar för att kunna tillgodogöra sig kursen.
