The course is given for exchange students within the dentistry programme, during the 8th semester. *Contents* Diagnostics and therapy planning at extensive tooth loss and collapsed dentitions Prosthetic treatment alternatives quality evaluated from the patients point of view Combined fixed and removable dental prosthetic treatment in theory and practice. Implant supported treatment and maintenance of implant supported tooth reconstructions Dental materials and their biological effects Prognosis, complications, evaluation and follow up of prosthetic treatment

The student must have completed courses that correspond to previous courses carried out during the 1st-7th semester within the dentistry programme.
