Kursen omfattar verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU) med klinisk färdighetsträning om 9 veckor inom följande områden: interventionell radiologi (IR), magnet resonanstomografi (MRT) samt nuklearmedicin eller mammografi. I kursen fördjupas studier i bröstcancersjukdom samt hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar. Innehållet syftar till ett fördjupat ansvarstagande inom röntgensjuksköterskans arbetsområde med hänsyn till omvårdnad, strålskydd, bildkvalité, och intersektionella aspekter. Kursen är indelad i två delar. *Del 1.* Patofysiologi med specifik omvårdnad, 1,5 hp. *Del 2.* Verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU), 13,5 hp.
