Kursens syfte är att studenten ska få en introduktion till ämnesområdena beslutsteori och spelteori och själv kunna ställa upp och lösa enklare problem inom dessa områden. I kursen diskuteras frågan hur vi bör handla rationellt i en instrumentell mening, det vill säga: hur bör vi handla för att bäst uppnå våra mål. Denna fråga belyses inom ramen för beslutsteori och spelteori.

Two semesters on the Bachelor's Programme in Cultural and Social Analysis at Uppsala University, or equivalent
