In the course a broad overview of the comparative study of religion is given, the historical and anthropological research history, where significant original research texts are studied. Central theories and concepts within these research fields are studied and discussed, where critical views are also highlighted. Furthermore, the students will be given in depth knowledge about methods and practice those applied in this field. An individual assignment will be carried out.

Entry requirements

A first cycle degree comprising at least 180 credits, including 90 credits in the main field of Religious Studies or related fields and English language proficiency equivalent to (the Swedish upper secondary school) English course 6.
