A course based on outdoor studies in the wild nature of the northernmost parts of Europe, characterized by open alpine areas, deep forests and a variety of lakes and coastal environments. Teaching outdoors will be followed up by indoor lectures, seminars and group discussions to deepen the knowledge of plant and animal ecology in different ecosystems.<br> <br> The course includes following blocks:<br> \- Alpine Ecology 7,5 credits<br> \- Boreal Forest Ecology 7,5 credits<br> \- Aquatic Ecosystems in Nordic Countries 7,5 credits<br> \- Sustainability in Nordic Ecosystems 7,5 credits
