Computational mathematics provides tools used to solve equations, analyze data, and build computational models in many areas of science and technology. In the course, you will learn numerical methods for linear systems, least squares problems, eigenvalues, interpolation, and nonlinear equations, with a focus on accuracy, stability, and efficiency. The course is part of the second semester of the Mathematics program, but can also be taken as a stand-alone course.
General entry requirements and the equivalent of the courses Single Variable Calculus 1 MMG230, Single Variable Calculus 2 MMG240, Linear Algebra MMG250, and Programming with Python MVG302.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
