The course aims to provide basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems - GIS. Through the course you will learn the practical management, principles and application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). A major part of the course content is devoted to practical, mainly geoscientific, exercises with GIS software. The course is part of the Bachelor of Science in Earth Science, but can also be taken as a freestanding course.
