The course gives knowledge of the theoretical backgrounds of geophysical methods and their interpretation theories. The course covers seismic, gravity, magnetism, electricity and electromagnetism. After completing the course, the student should have knowledge of geophysical applications in geology, environment, water and exploration for raw materials.
Admission to the course requires at least 90 credits in the main field of study: Earth Sciences. Applicants with an equivalent education can after assessment be given admission to the course.
