This course covers German-language literary history from 1945 to the present day. The main focus is on various developments and trends within the period, such as early post-war literature, the politicisation of literature, new subjectivity, postmodernism, Wende literature, and migration literature. These are exemplified by a number of works canonised in literary history. NB: The course has scheduled online classes when given as a distance course.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
