This course gives a general introduction to basic linguistic concepts as well as a brief overview of the languages in Africa. Special attention is paid to language structures that are typical for languages in Africa. The language of instruction is English. The course has scheduled online classes.

General entrance requirements for university studies. Exemption is given from Swedish.
