<p>The overall aim of this course is to introduce university students to scientific knowledge about digitization of higher education with a focus on the conditions this entails for teaching and learning. The course covers both a theoretical perspective on, and practical consequences for, learning and knowledge development. During the course, how digitization affects the conditions of university students and teachers is studied, analyzed and discussed. Central challenges and opportunities that digitization of higher education entails are problematized, as well as current issues and implications are examined and are reported.</p> <p>The course is net-based and delivered remotely. It includes lectures, seminars, and practical assignments based on active collaboration via the University of Gothenburg’s learning platform. The language of instruction is English. Assignments may, by agreement with the examiner, be written in Swedish.</p>
