The master’s programme in Opera is for you who have a bachelor’s degree in opera and want to deepen your professional skills during two years. As a student of the programme, you will deepen your artistic abilities and knowledge through coaching, mentorship, and observing and performing in opera productions. As part of the programme, you will take part in a full scale opera production at the Academy of Music and Drama or in an opera house.

Entry requirements

Bachelor degree of fine arts in opera or equivalent, as well as knowledge and skills in music and acting that are assessed at the admission test and are the basis for selection. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
