This programme offers a specialized education in Geology or Climatology/Physical Geography. You gain in-depth knowledge of both natural geoscientific processes and the climate changes that affect our time, while being trained in modern analytical tools and advanced lab techniques. The programme equips you to work with qualified tasks in infrastructure and urban planning, the development of sustainable energy systems, climate adaption and sustainable environmental protection.

Entry requirements

Admission to the N2GVS Master's Programme in Earth Sciences, requires a university or college degree consisting of at least 180 credits, with at least 120 credits within Earth Sciences. Applicants with equivalent education may be admitted to the programme after review and approval. International applicants must prove their knowledge of English corresponding to English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School.
