<p>On this course the focus is on socio-linguistic, historical, lexical and political perspectives on language. Also Somalis relationship to other languages, the dialects and the standardisation process are discussed, as well as important reference work and other sources, such as dictionaries and language corpora.</p> <p>The course has scheduled online classes.</p>

General entrance requirements for university studies. Exemption is given from English when the language of instruction is Swedish. Exemption is given from Swedish when the language of instruction is English.
