Kursen syftar till att ge insikter i kemins teoretiska grundvalar (molekyldynamik, kvantmekanik, termodynamik, statistisk mekanik) och deras tillämpningsmöjligheter (reaktionshastighet, atom- och bindningslära, spektroskopi, kemisk jämvikt). Den experimentella basen illustreras med laborationer. Kunskaper motsvarande 15 hp i matematik rekommenderas.
Entry requirements
Godkänt resultat på kurs KEM011, Grundläggande kemi 1 (15 hp) eller motsvarande kunskaper. Genomgången kurs Naturvetarmatematik A1 (15 hp), kurskod MMGK11 eller motsvarande kunskaper rekommenderas starkt.
