Are you an architect, engineer or antiquarian who wants to deepen your knowledge of wood in our built cultural heritage? In the master's course *Competence Development for Material and Method Descriptions in Cultural Heritage Conservation - Brick and Brickwork*, you will learn to examine brick as a building material in our built cultural heritage. Through practical work, lectures, field studies and seminars, you will gain the tools to discuss and document traditional masonry structures from a conservationist perspective on materials and methods, as well as from a sustainability perspective. The course is taught remotely and includes a number of compulsory meetings in Mariestad. The course is aimed at those with a bachelor's degree in architecture and civil engineering, cultural heritage conservation or equivalent.
Admission to the course requires a bachelor's degree in architecture, building crafts, cultural heritage conservation or equivalent.
