You study their syntactic, morphological and semantic aspects and discuss the relevance of the texts to linguistics. You read texts in Japanese while practising your language skills. The texts are supplemented by journal articles from international English-language journals which are of a more general scholarly nature. The course is taught in English and Japanese. Swedish may also be used in the teaching, depending on the students’ backgrounds and wishes.
The requirement for admission to the course is that the following courses have been completed: JP1510, Japanese, Advanced course (15 credits) and JP1520, Japanese, Independent project for a Bachelor's degree (15 credits), or that the equivalent knowledge has been obtained.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
