This course offers advanced knowledge in research design, qualitative and quantitative methods, and research ethics. You will gain practical tools to plan, conduct, and critically evaluate scientific studies. The course is particularly suitable for students preparing a thesis, pursuing doctoral studies, or engaging in advanced investigative work. Scientific thinking and methodology are essential foundations in both practical social work and academic research. Entry requirements

För att vara behörig till kursen krävs socionomexamen omfattande 210 högskolepoäng, alternativt kandidatexamen i socialt arbete omfattande 180 högskolepoäng eller kandidatexamen i annat näraliggande område. Därutöver krävs genomförda fördjupningskurser på avancerad nivå i socialt arbete omfattande minst 30 högskolepoäng (detta ingår i Socionomprogrammet om 210 högskolepoäng), eller motsvarande kunskaper.
