The aim of the course is that students should develop a basic understanding of Somali as a language system from a contrastive perspective mainly by making comparisons with Swedish and/or English. The student should also develop a sufficient linguistic conceptual apparatus in Swedish and/or English as well as Somali to be able to discuss the grammatical issues that are treated in the course. <br> The course has scheduled online classes.
Entry requirements
General entrance requirements for university studies. Exemption is given from English when the language of instruction is Swedish. Exemption is given from Swedish when the language of instruction is English.
