<p>This course introduces the role of batteries in electromobility industry. During the course, you will learn about the fundamental principles of batteries, battery production process, as well as in-line and end-of-line test procedure during the manufacturing stages. Through practical projects, you will have the opportunity to familiar with laser welding of busbars to battery terminal with the laser machine at ASSAR.</p>

Entry requirements

The prerequisite for this course is 60 credits within field of integrated product development, production engineering, automation engineering, mechanical engineering or information technology (or the equivalent).A further requirement is proof of skills in English equivalent of studies at upper secondary level in Sweden, known as the Swedish course English 6 or English level 2 (or the equivalent). This is normally demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized language test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL.If you do not fulfill the academic prerequisites, you can apply to be assessed based on work experience.
