<p>The teaching deal with the characteristics, regulation, and function of stem cells, including the role of stem cells in tumor development. The course also gives a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind tumor formation and progression, including tumor pathology, cancer diagnostics, and treatment.</p>
The course has the following entry requirements: passed BM136G Genetics G1N and passed BV108G Cell Biology G1N (or the equivalent). Since the level of progression of the course is G2F, the prerequisites are passed courses of at least 60 credits in one or more of the subjects of Biomedicine, Bioscience or Chemistry, where the courses above are included.
