This course gives you in-depth knowledge of how electromagnetic fields affect vehicle components and you learn to develop technical solutions to minimize disturbances in the electric powertrain. In the course you will also learn to use finite element methods to analyze electromagnetic compatibility and its effect on the system.<br> After completing the course, you will not only have an in-depth understanding of electromagnetic compatibility in electric vehicles, but also the skills to analyze, design and implement technical solutions in the field. **Industry and academy** This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness. We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the entry requirements for the course. Bachelor's degree with a major in electrical engineering or equivalent. The first-cycle program shall include at least 3 credits in programming and 15 credits in mathematics. English 6. You also need approved result from the following course/courses: MEM500-Modeling of Electric Machines and EDF500-Electrical design of traction battery and ELD500-Power Electronics and Electric Drive Systems or the equivalent.
