Rapid growth in the electric vehicle market is one of the prerequisites for meeting the global targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality in urban cities.<br> Electric vehicles also meet consumers' needs for a modern comfortable driving experience. The transition to battery-powered vehicles will radically change the automotive industry within a few years. The course is based on the increased need for batteries for electric vehicles. We handle a wide range of battery and vehicle types, ranging from passenger cars to heavy construction vehicles and trucks.<br> You get basic knowledge of different types of batteries. Furthermore, the course analyses the type of battery that is suitable for different types of vehicles and applications.<br> The course ends with a case study in the form of practical risk analysis for battery management. **Industry and academy** This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at the advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness.<br> We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the eligibility requirements for the course. Entry requirements

Passed courses of 90 HE credits within the field of technology with at least 15 HE credits on level 61-90 HE credits or equivalent.
